Hotel Continental City Center - Iasi

Spotlessly clean and attentive service with a cute atmosphere.

I really enjoyed staying in this pretty standard hotel based in a historic building. I got complimentary twin room with 2 balconies as an upgrade, nice gesture. The property had a very central position just next door to one of several bus stations, the center and rail station and Palas Complex. Pub Arte located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Sweet as central spot, though, right by everything! Beds could be more comfy, to be honest.

Location: the hotel was near to the Castle of Stefan cel Mare and center of the city...

The room was OK, breakfast was nice. Good location as well.

The room I stayed in was quite spacious, with a double and a single bed, a nice touch. It also had air conditioning, a TV, and a full-size fridge.

The furnishings were something out of a bygone era and could definitely use a refresh. Old-style decor doesn't exactly scream luxury. I had to deal with some drainage smells from the bathroom, and the floors were plagued by oil-fried aromas wafting from a fast-food restaurant on the ground floor, quite unpleasant. Plus, it seemed like trying to sleep next to a tram line with every passing tram shaking the walls. Not ideal for a good night's rest. Lastly, I encountered some cleanup issues with a few cockroaches making their presence known in the bathroom.

Location is good. 5Min distance by walking to umf (university) and 10 min to the shopping center. So so breakfast.

There were no non-smoking rooms /area. The food is very bad and the athmosphere is bad also. The place was not very clean.

I had a lovely stay with a spacious room that came with air conditioning, making it super comfy after a long day out. I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge and taking advantage of the well-kept garden area, which was a nice touch. The only thing that could be better was the occasional slow Wi-Fi, but overall, I’d totally recommend it for a chill getaway! 🌼

Great Service and friendly happy people .Beautiful views over the classic old city: good airco,comfy beds and extremley comfortable and very affordable hotel . Best of all an amazing Dentist Dr. Cristina Cotea has a state of the Art Dental office /practice right in the Hotel !Superb and painless Dentistry.Cosmetic Dentistry ,Bridges Rootcanals cleanings etc. You name it -Dr. Cristina can do it and at prices that are much more affordable than anywhere else in europe .She is so professional and perfect English too ! stayed 12 days loved it !Going back fot another week !"best "bang for your buck " simple,charming and affordable I have stayed here many times and am always pleased Rick /Holland

The hotel is centrally located. Despite its age, the cleanliness and 24-hour reception were commendable were good.

Good for a short stay on a budget

The breakfast was excellent, I had this amazing omelette which was a great way to start my day. Plus, there was air conditioning and a full-size fridge in my room, definitely added some comfort.

It wasn't inexpensive but overall still fair for what you get.

The hotel was just a short walk from both the central square and the Old Town, made exploring super easy. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast had so many choices, I loved the omelette! Definitely.

The bed in our room wasn't the most comfortable, and I had to put extra blankets on the mattress to sleep well.

This place is nice, and has essentials like good wi-fi, air conditioning, and a 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff even helped me print tickets, a great touch! I'm definitely coming back for my next trip.
